Since giving her life to Christ, prayer has been Barb Ho's foundation. This burning passion has led her toward an exciting prayer life.

Barb grew up on Long Island, New York. She attended Nyack College, majoring in Christian Education. She's been a pastor’s wife for over 30 years. After planting a church and having the joy of watching it grow from a church plant to a multi-ethnic church in the heart of New York City, the Lord led Barbara and her husband, Dan, to minister in a church in Houston, Texas, where he serves as Senior Pastor.

Barbara has led numerous training sessions on many areas of the Christian life, especially prayer. She oversees the cell ministry in their church - coordinating groups, training leaders, and writing the curriculum. Along with her involvement in church life, she is a marriage and premarital counselor.

Barb and Dan have always considered their ministry a team work. They are very active in missions work, especially in Ukraine. They have been traveling to this country at least once a year for the past 20 years and consider it their second home. Their work mainly involves orphanage ministries and support of pastors in that country.

God has laid a burden on Barbara's heart to not only pray for others, but also to train them in the fundamentals of prayer. It is a great joy to see others develop an intimate relationship with their Creator.

Barb and Dan are the proud parents of 2 adult sons and three precious granddaughters.
